 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 151 on page 1,  by
 3    replacing lines 18 through 20 with the following:
 4             "(1)  Should  the  General Assembly and the Governor
 5        temporarily increase the  Illinois  income  tax  to  help
 6        solve  the  current State budget crisis and avoid drastic
 7        cuts in State support for public education and  essential
 8        health care services?".
