 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 291 on page 1,  by
 3    replacing lines 13 through 16 with the following:
 4    "thereby.  No sheriff shall be civilly liable for serving, as
 5    directed by  the  court,  any  warrant,  order,  process,  or
 6    judgment  that  has been issued or affirmed by a court of the
 7    State of Illinois and that is valid on its face.".
