 1        AN ACT regarding apppropriations.

 2        Be it enacted by the People of  the  State  of  Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section  5.  The  sum of $1, or so much thereof as may be
 5    necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue  Fund  to
 6    the Illinois Emergency Management Agency to study new ways of
 7    reacting to threats of terrorism.

 8        Section  10.   Effective  date.  This Act takes effect on
 9    July 1, 2003.
