 1                    AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1379

 2        AMENDMENT NO.     .  Amend Senate Bill 1379 by  replacing
 3    everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 4        "Section  5.  The Environmental Protection Act is amended
 5    by changing Section 1 as follows:

 6        (415 ILCS 5/1) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 1001)
 7        Sec. 1. This Act shall be known and may be cited  as  the
 8    "Environmental Protection Act".
