    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2135 as follows:

on page 1, line 11, by replacing "school districts" with 
4
"schools"; and

on page 1, line 25, by replacing "a class size" with "an 
6
average class size within a specific grade"; and

on page 1, line 26, after the period, by inserting "If a 
8
school's facilities are inadequate to allow for this specified 
9
class size, then a school may use the grant funds for teacher 
10
aides instead.".
