Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Authorizes the corporate authorities of
any municipality to create a schedule for and to collect developer donation
fees for certain impacts specifically and uniquely attributable to the
development of any subdivision or resubdivision of land within the
municipality. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning municipalities.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding |
| 5 |
| Section 11-12-5.5
as
follows:
|

| (65 ILCS 5/11-12-5.5 new)
|

| Sec. 11-12-5.5. Developer donations. The corporate |
| 8 |
| authorities of any
municipality may create a schedule for and |
| 9 |
| to collect developer donation fees
for any impact on the |
| 10 |
| municipality's public infrastructure, services,
operations, or |
| 11 |
| schools if that impact is specifically and uniquely |
| 12 |
| attributable
to the development of any subdivision or |
| 13 |
| resubdivision of land within the
municipality.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 15 |
| becoming law. |
