| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2164

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2164 on page 2, by |

| replacing lines 27 through 29 with the following:

| "As used in this Section, personal injury means any injury |
| 5 |
| requiring treatment beyond first aid."; and |
| 6 |
| |
| 7 |
| on page 5, by replacing lines 3 through 8 with the following: |

| "Any person who is convicted of a violation of Section 5-2 |
| 9 |
| of this Act or
subsection A-1 of Section 6-1 of this Act, in |
| 10 |
| addition to any other penalties
authorized in this Act, shall |
| 11 |
| have his or her privilege of operating any
watercraft on any of |
| 12 |
| the waterways of this State suspended by the Department for a |
| 13 |
| period of not less than one year.".
