    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Property Tax Code is amended by changing

Section 1-150 as follows:

    (35 ILCS 200/1-150)

    Sec. 1-150. Taxing district. 
"Taxing district" means any 
8
unit of local
government, school district
or community college 
9
district with the power to levy taxes.
