| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2375

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2375 on page 1, by |

| replacing lines 10 through 18 with the following:

| "a certification by the contractor that any services provided |
| 5 |
| pursuant to a contract or subcontract for services shall be |
| 6 |
| performed within the United States. The State may void any |
| 7 |
| contract for violation of that certification if the appropriate |
| 8 |
| chief procurement officer deems that action to be in the best |
| 9 |
| interest of the State. The appropriate chief procurement |
| 10 |
| officer by rule may establish ad hoc exemptions from this |
| 11 |
| Section when he or she deems those exemptions to be in the best |
| 12 |
| interest of the State.".
