| AN ACT in relation to public utilities.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding
|

| Section 2-103.5 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (220 ILCS 5/2-103.5 new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 2-103.5. Illinois Commerce Commission Police Force |
| 8 |
| eliminated. On
the effective date of this amendatory Act of the |
| 9 |
| 93rd General Assembly, the
Illinois Commerce Commission Police |
| 10 |
| Force is abolished. On the effective date
of this amendatory |
| 11 |
| Act of the 93rd General Assembly, all Illinois
Commerce |
| 12 |
| Commission Police Officers are transferred to the jurisdiction |
| 13 |
| of the
Department of State Police and all books, records, and |
| 14 |
| accounts relating to the
Illinois Commerce Commission Police |
| 15 |
| Force are transferred to the Department of
State Police.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |

| becoming law. |
