Amends the Community Senior Services and Resources Act. Authorizes the Director of Aging to accept monetary bequests and gifts for deposit into the Community Senior Services and Resources Fund. Directs the Department on Aging, in conjunction with the Community Senior Services and Resource Center Advisory Committee, to design an awareness campaign that can be implemented by senior services and resource centers at their individual expense. Effective immediately.

| AN ACT concerning aging.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Community Senior Services and Resources Act |
5 |
| is amended by adding Section 32 as follows: |
6 |
| (320 ILCS 60/32 new) |

| Sec. 32. Bequests and gifts; awareness campaign. |
8 |
| (a) The Director may accept monetary bequests and gifts for |
9 |
| deposit into the Community Senior Services and Resources Fund.
|
10 |
| (b) The Department, in conjunction with the Community |
11 |
| Senior Services and Resource Center Advisory Committee, shall |
12 |
| design an awareness campaign that can be implemented by senior |
13 |
| services and resource centers at their individual expense.
|
14 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
15 |
| becoming law.
