    AN ACT in relation to health in the workplace.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Workers' Compensation Act is amended by 
5
changing Section 28
as follows:

    (820 ILCS 305/28)  (from Ch. 48, par. 138.28)

    Sec. 28. This Act applies
shall apply to all accidental 
8
injuries and
deaths
occurring on or after July 1, 1951.
