| AN ACT concerning civil procedure.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 7-103.113 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (735 ILCS 5/7-103.113 new)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 7-103.113. Quick-take; Illinois Emergency Management |
| 8 |
| Agency. Quick-take proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used |
| 9 |
| for a period of 24 months after the effective date of this |
| 10 |
| amendatory Act by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for |
| 11 |
| the purposes set forth in subsection (5) of Section 3 of the |
| 12 |
| Radiation Protection Act of 1990 and in Section 49 of that Act.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 |
| becoming law.
