    AN ACT concerning animals.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Animal Control Act is amended by changing

Section 9 as follows:

    (510 ILCS 5/9)  (from Ch. 8, par. 359)

    Sec. 9. Impounding dogs. Any dog found running at large 
8
contrary to
provisions of this Act
may
be apprehended and 
9
impounded. For this purpose, the Administrator shall
utilize 
10
any existing or available animal control facility.
