AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2844

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2844 on page 1,

line 10, by replacing "13 members as follows:" with "the 
4
following members:"; and

on page 1, by replacing lines 16 through 19 with the following:
6
        "(2) One member appointed by the Commander or President 
7
of each Veterans Service Organization that (i) is chartered 
8
by the federal government and chartered by the State of 
9
Illinois and (ii) elects to appoint a member. Members 
10
appointed under this paragraph (2) shall serve for terms of 
11
2 years."
