| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2937
|

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2937 on page 4, |
| 3 |
| line 30, by replacing "An importing distributor" with the |
| 4 |
| following: |
| 5 |
| "A holder of an importing distributor's license may obtain one |
| 6 |
| supplemental storage permit upon the filing of the supplemental |
| 7 |
| application with the State Commission. The Commission shall, |
| 8 |
| upon the payment of a fee of $270, immediately issue the |
| 9 |
| supplemental storage permit, which shall allow the storage of |
| 10 |
| alcoholic beverages at one warehouse location other than the |
| 11 |
| importing distributor's licensed premises, provided that (i) |
| 12 |
| sales of alcoholic liquor are not made from the supplemental |
| 13 |
| storage warehouse; (ii) the supplemental storage warehouse is |
| 14 |
| not subject to the provisions of Article VIIA of this Act; |
| 15 |
| (iii) the supplemental storage warehouse is owned by or |
| 16 |
| otherwise in the control and possession of the importing |
| 17 |
| distributor as evidenced by a written lease or agreement; and |
| 18 |
| (iv) the supplemental storage warehouse is in compliance with |
| 19 |
| the provisions of any agreement between the importing |
| 20 |
| distributor and the manufacturers supplying alcoholic |
| 21 |
| beverages to be stored in the storage warehouse. An importing |
| 22 |
| distributor's supplemental storage permit must be displayed |
| 23 |
| with the importing distributor's license at the licensed |
| 24 |
| premises."; and
