| Protection Agency's Primary Drinking Water Standards (35 Ill. |

| Adm. Code 611.902), the district must initiate consultation |

| with any county health department that serves an area subject |
| 7 |
| to the order or notification as soon as is practical, but no |
| 8 |
| later than 24 hours after the district learns of the violation |
| 9 |
| or situation. The consultation must include notice of the |
| 10 |
| estimated duration of the order or notification and the |
| 11 |
| geographic area covered by the order or warning. |
| 12 |
| Section 15. The Water Authorities Act is amended by adding |
| 13 |
| Section 6c as follows: |

| Sec. 6c. Boil order or other Tier 1 public notification; |
| 16 |

| 17 |
| authority issues a boil order or any other Tier 1 public |
| 18 |

| 19 |
| Protection Agency's Primary Drinking Water Standards (35 Ill. |

| 21 |
| with any county health department that serves an area subject |
| 22 |

| Section 20. The Water Commission Act of 1985 is amended by |

| adding Section 2.5 as follows: |
