| AN ACT in relation to the State Treasurer.
|
| 2 |
| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The State Treasurer Act is amended by changing
|
| 5 |
| Section 5 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (15 ILCS 505/5) (from Ch. 130, par. 5)

| Sec. 5. Seal. The Treasurer shall keep an official seal, |
| 8 |
| which shall be
used to
authenticate all writings, papers and |
| 9 |
| documents, required by law to be
certified from his or her |
| 10 |
| office; and copies of all records, writings,
papers and
|
| 11 |
| documents legally in his or her keeping, when certified by him |
| 12 |
| or her,
and authenticated
by his or her official seal, shall be |
| 13 |
| received in evidence in the same
manner and
with like effect as |
| 14 |
| the originals.
