    AN ACT concerning environmental protection.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by 
5
changing
Section 58.4 as follows:

    (415 ILCS 5/58.4)

    Sec. 58.4. Permit waiver.   A State permit or permit

8
revision that
which is not
otherwise required by federal law or 
9
regulations shall not be required for
remedial action 
10
activities undertaken pursuant to the provisions of this Title

11
that occur entirely on the site.
