SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

Appropriates $8 million from the General Revenue Fund to the  Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for costs associated with the remediation of public and private properties in and around Barrie Park in Oak Park.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5.  The sum of $8,000,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for costs associated with the environmental remediation of public and private properties in and around Barrie Park in Oak Park, and reinvestment in and redevelopment of public and private properties in and around Barrie Park in Oak Park.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2004.
