093_SR0063 LRB093 11170 KEF 12116 r 1 SENATE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of 3 Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of Janet M. 4 Cullum (nee Fagan) of North Chicago on February 21, 2003 at 5 62 years of age; and 6 WHEREAS, Mrs. Cullum was born July 12, 1940 in Waukegan 7 and lived most of her life in North Chicago; and 8 WHEREAS, Mrs. Cullum attended South School and graduated 9 from North Chicago High School; she was a member of Emmanuel 10 Methodist Church; and 11 WHEREAS, She worked for the Business Card Company, Fojtik 12 Pharmacy in Fox Lake, Bud's Two Two, and the Bears Den in 13 North Chicago; she was a member of the Lake County Tavern 14 Owners Association and the North Chicago Tavern Owners 15 Association; and 16 WHEREAS, Mrs. Cullum's passing will be deeply felt by 17 many, especially her husband of 46 years, Edgar; her son, 18 Edgar Jr.; her daughter, Teri Kozina (Gus); her two brothers, 19 James "Bob" Fagan (Sallie) and Charles Fagan (Brenda); her 20 five sisters, Geraldine Casey (Hearl), Jean Coffos (George), 21 JoAnn Cepon (Carl), Judy Fojtik (Ed), Jodell Meier (Dale); 22 her brothers and sisters-in-law, Loyal "Bugs" Cullum, Nancy 23 Fals, Betty Bowman and John Cullum; her seven grandchildren, 24 Brianna, Anthony, Cora, Taniya Cullum, Erik, Kyle, Kozina and 25 Rebecca Shorman; and her great-granddaughter, Alexia Marie 26 McDaniel; and 27 WHEREAS, Mrs. Cullum was preceded in death by her son, 28 Charles Wayne Cullum; her granddaughter, Brittney Shorman; 29 her parents, James "Bud" and Anna "Maxine" Fagan; her 30 nephews, Jeff Coffos and George Werner; and her niece 31 Kimberly Swanson; therefore, be it -2- LRB093 11170 KEF 12116 r 1 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL 2 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of 3 Janet M. Cullum and extend our sincere condolences to her 4 family and friends; and be it further 5 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 6 presented to the family of Janet M. Cullum as an expression 7 of our deepest sympathy.
