 1                          SENATE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, The members  of  the  Senate  of  the  State  of
 3    Illinois were saddened to learn of the death of James T. Wolf
 4    of Aurora on August 30, 2003; and

 5        WHEREAS,  Mr.  Wolf was born November 18, 1937 in Aurora,
 6    the son of the late Otto R. and Ethel (Walz) Wolf; and

 7        WHEREAS, Mr. Wolf served in the United States  Navy  from
 8    1955-1959;  he  retired from NiCor after 36 years of service,
 9    and after his retirement worked as an independent contractor;
10    he was a member of Holy Angels Church since 1985, serving  as
11    a  lector,  eucharistic  minister,  and coffee hour and donut
12    coordinator; he also was in the Holy Angels Prayer Group  and
13    involved in many Christian functions; and

14        WHEREAS,  Mr. Wolf was an active member of the Knights of
15    Columbus 4th Degree and a former Grand Knight, Mendota J.F.K.
16    Council; he was extremely active in the Pro-Life Movement and
17    Habitat for  Humanity,  serving  in  Clarksdale,  Mississippi
18    yearly;  he  was a giving man, who would give of his time and
19    talents to help someone  else  out;  he  enjoyed  working  on
20    projects  around  the house or for someone else, bike riding,
21    and being outdoors; and

22        WHEREAS, Mr. Wolf's passing will be deeply felt by  many,
23    especially  his  wife  of  39  years, Carol (Roots) Wolf; his
24    daughter, Joan (John) Schmidt and  and their family, Jonathan
25    and Aaron Schmidt; his daughter, Dr.  Kathy  (Thomas  Brandt)
26    Wolf  and their family, Micah Joy Brandt; his daughter, Karen
27    (Jeffrey) Ingles, and their daughter Kailey Ingles;  his  son
28    Timothy J. (Sheryl) Wolf, and their family Nathan, Jacob, and
29    Hannah  Wolf; his son David (fiancee Jacquie Grandsard) Wolf;
30    his brothers, Joseph  (Barbara)  Wolf  and  Otto  (Charlotte)
31    Wolf;  his  sisters,  Peggy  (Herb)  Weis  and  Sally  (Jack)
32    Simmons; and many nieces and nephews; and

 1        WHEREAS,  He  was preceded in death by a sister Mary Hart
 2    and a grandson David Michael Wolf; therefore, be it

 3        RESOLVED, BY  THE  SENATE  OF  THE  NINETY-THIRD  GENERAL
 4    ASSEMBLY  OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing
 5    of James T. Wolf along with all who knew and  loved  him  and
 6    extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
 7    be it further

 8        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
 9    presented to the family of James T. Wolf as an expression  of
10    our deepest sympathy.
