| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with great sadness of the passing of Marian G. Stare of |
4 |
| Aurora on November 19, 2003; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Marian G. Goodwin was born on August 15, 1908, in |
6 |
| Aurora to Patrick and Mae (Barlow) Goodwin and was the beloved |
7 |
| wife of Paul Stare; her husband preceded her is death in 2000; |
8 |
| and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, Mrs. Stare was a teacher for five years at Abraham |
10 |
| Lincoln School and later at St. Mary School before she was |
11 |
| married; and
|
12 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Marian G. Stare has been deeply |
13 |
| felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her children, |
14 |
| Sue (Jerry) Ellis, Sandra (Robert) Dollinger, and Paul (Mary) |
15 |
| Stare; her grandchildren, Joan Ellis, John (Mary) Ellis, Paula |
16 |
| (Brad) Bonifas, Joel Ellis, Mary Kennedy, Gayle Ellis, Steven |
17 |
| (Julie) Dollinger, Deborah Dollinger, Julie (Albert) DeSalvo, |
18 |
| Kelly (Vince) Guzniczak, Michael (Danielle) Stare, and Colleen |
19 |
| Stare; and her 14 great-grandchildren; and |
20 |
| WHEREAS, In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stare was |
21 |
| preceded in death by her grandson, David Ellis; and by her |
22 |
| parents, Patrick and Mae (Barlow) Goodwin; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
24 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
25 |
| Marian G. Stare along with all who knew and loved her and |
26 |
| extend our sincere condolences to her family and friends; and |
27 |
| be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |

| presented to the family of Marian G. Stare as an expression of |
