| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of James L. Finn of |
4 |
| Bartonville on Thursday, November 20, 2003; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Finn was born on December 31, 1951, in |
6 |
| Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to James and Marilyn Krumer Finn; he |
7 |
| married Margie Hohman on May 26, 1973, in Pittsburgh, |
8 |
| Pennsylvania; he received a Bachelor's Degree in environmental |
9 |
| science from California University of Pennsylvania in 1976; and
|
10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Finn worked for Continental Grain Co. in |
11 |
| Everson, Pennsylvania, and Bartonville; he had been an |
12 |
| investigator for the Food and Drug Administration for 13 years; |
13 |
| and
|
14 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Finn was a trustee of the Tuscarora Volunteer |
15 |
| Fire Department; he was a former member of the Pekin Lions Club |
16 |
| and a former trainer for Leader Dogs for the Blind; he attended |
17 |
| St. Benedicts Abbey in Bartonville; and
|
18 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Mr. Finn has been deeply felt by |
19 |
| many, especially his wife, Margie; his sons, Andrew, Patrick, |
20 |
| and Nolan; his mother and stepfather, Marilyn and George |
21 |
| Obsince; and his brother, Thomas; therefore, be it
|
22 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
23 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
24 |
| James L. Finn, and we extend our sympathy to his friends, |
25 |
| family, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
|
26 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
27 |
| presented to the family of Mr. Finn as an expression of our |
28 |
| condolences for their loss.
