| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Robert B. White of LaSalle |
| 4 |
| and formerly of Princeton on Sunday, February 8, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Robert B. White was born on February 14, 1921, in |
| 6 |
| Wyanet to Frank and Alice (Polson) White; he married Lucille |
| 7 |
| Walker on November 9, 1945, in Modesto, California; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. White valiantly served his country in the |
| 9 |
| United States Navy during World War II; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. White had been a partner in White Brothers |
| 11 |
| Monument in Princeton for several years; he also was a rural |
| 12 |
| mail carrier, retiring after 35 years; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Robert B. White has been deeply |
| 14 |
| felt by many, especially his wife, Lucille; his children, |
| 15 |
| Stephen R. White and Gary R. (Debra) White; and his |
| 16 |
| grandchildren, Allison White and Christopher White; therefore, |
| 17 |
| be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 19 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 20 |
| Robert B. White, and we extend our deepest sympathy to his |
| 21 |
| friends, family, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 22 |
| further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 24 |
| presented to the family of Mr. White as an expression of our |
| 25 |
| sincere condolences.
