| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Edward W. Lisek on |
4 |
| Wednesday, February 25, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Lisek honorably served his country during the |
6 |
| Korean War in the United States Army; he was a member of Rhine |
7 |
| Post #2729 VFW; and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Lisek was a Stickney Township Official, a |
9 |
| Central Stickney Sanitary District Trustee/Clerk, and a |
10 |
| Democratic precinct captain for Central Stickney; and
|
11 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Edward W. Lisek has been deeply |
12 |
| felt by many, especially his daughter, Janell (Celestin) |
13 |
| Babulic; his son-in-law, Ernest Lohrer; his grandchildren, |
14 |
| Ernest III and Amy Lohrer and Brian and Jessica Babulic; his |
15 |
| siblings Ted (Lillian) and Eugene (Janet); his sister-in-law, |
16 |
| Emily Lisek; and his brother-in-law, Vern Duha; he was an uncle |
17 |
| of many; his daughter, Esther Lohrer, and his siblings, Jean |
18 |
| Duncalf, John, Virginia Duha, and Lorraine Banasiak preceded |
19 |
| him in death; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
21 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
22 |
| Edward W. Lisek, and we extend our sincere condolences to his |
23 |
| friends, family, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
24 |
| further
|
25 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
26 |
| presented to the family of Edward W. Lisek as an expression of |
27 |
| our deepest sympathy.
