| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened |
| 3 |
| to learn of the passing of Joseph M. Murray on April 21, 2004; |
| 4 |
| and |
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Joseph Murray was born in Oak Park on October 11, |
| 6 |
| 1918, and was the beloved husband of the late Florence; and |
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Murray's career at Corn Products Company |
| 8 |
| spanned 30 years; and |
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Murray retired to Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, |
| 10 |
| where he and Florence spent more than 20 years; and |
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He moved back home in 1997 to be closer to his |
| 12 |
| family, after the passing of his wife; and |
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Joseph Murray will be deeply felt |
| 14 |
| by many, especially his children, Pat Murray, Joyce Segraves, |
| 15 |
| Diane and her husband Scott Rigsbee, Jan and her husband Bill |
| 16 |
| Peterson, and Sandy and her husband Ron Gbur; his |
| 17 |
| grandchildren, Leah Bishop, Tim and Steve Peterson, and Whitney |
| 18 |
| and Danny Gbur; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 20 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
| 21 |
| Joseph Murray along with all who knew and loved him and extend |
| 22 |
| our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and be it |
| 23 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 25 |
| presented to the family of Joseph Murray as an expression of |
| 26 |
| our sorrow for their loss.
