| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| were saddened to learn of the death of Darrell Pollack of |
4 |
| Buffalo Grove on January 30, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Darrell Pollack was known by those at Congregation |
6 |
| Beth Judea of Long Grove as a man who graciously gave his time |
7 |
| and effort to make the synagogue's Men's Club a highly |
8 |
| successful organization, in spite of his busy family life; and
|
9 |
| WHEREAS, As a director on the Men's Club Board as well as |
10 |
| the vice president of finance on the synagogue's board of |
11 |
| directors, Mr. Pollack was the spark that ignited new programs |
12 |
| and events; and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, In a tribute to his dedication, he was |
14 |
| posthumously honored at the Midwest Region of the Federation of |
15 |
| Jewish Men's Clubs annual Man of the Year Dinner on February |
16 |
| 25, 2004, at Congregation Beth Hillel in Wilmette; and
|
17 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Darrell Pollack will be deeply felt |
18 |
| by many, especially his beloved wife, Tamara (nee Malter); his |
19 |
| children, Elliot, Jennifer and Garrett; his parents, Murray and |
20 |
| Fran Pollack; his sister, Marilyn (Greg Naron) Pollack-Naron; |
21 |
| his grandparents, Toby and Trudy Pollack and Millie Fenchel; |
22 |
| his parents-in-law, Michael and Renee Malter; his |
23 |
| brothers-in-law, David (Lisa) and Mark (Amy) Malter; and his |
24 |
| many loving nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |

| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
27 |
| Darrell Pollack along with all who knew and loved him and |
28 |
| extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and |
29 |
| be it further
