| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, It is with sadness that the members of the Senate |
| 3 |
| of the State of Illinois learned of the death of Maria T. |
| 4 |
| Olsen, nee Vallera, of Oak Lawn on Wednesday, June 16, 2004; |
| 5 |
| and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Maria T. Vallera was born on January 5, 1932 in |
| 7 |
| Evergreen Park; she was the owner of the Gateway Motel in Oak |
| 8 |
| Lawn; she married Robert F. Olsen; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Maria T. Olsen has been deeply felt |
| 10 |
| by many, especially her husband, Robert F. Olsen; her children, |
| 11 |
| Karen (Michael) Hullinger, Robert M. (Rita), John (Gail), and |
| 12 |
| William (Kelly); and her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kevin, Kyle, |
| 13 |
| Robert Jr., Thomas, Brian, and Matthew; she was the devoted |
| 14 |
| daughter and friend of Gerd Vallera and the dear sister of the |
| 15 |
| late Gerald Vallera; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 17 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 |
| Maria T. Olsen, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her |
| 19 |
| family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it |
| 20 |
| further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the family of Maria T. Olsen as an expression of |
| 23 |
| our sincerest condolences.
