| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Martha Burgo of North |
| 4 |
| Aurora on Wednesday, June 16, 2004; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Martha Salvaro was born on August 26, 1919, in |
| 6 |
| Chicago to Angelo and Rose (Guttilla) Burgo; she was the loving |
| 7 |
| wife of Paul and was devoted to her family and their |
| 8 |
| activities; Mr. Burgo preceded her in death; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Martha Burgo has been deeply felt |
| 10 |
| by many, especially her children, Rosemary (Carl) Pallasch, |
| 11 |
| Paul, Larry (Kathy), and David; her grandchildren, Lawrence |
| 12 |
| Burgo, Sean Baker, Dominic (Sara) Burgo, and Anthony Burgo; her |
| 13 |
| sister, Anna (the late Vincent) Salerno; her sister-in-law and |
| 14 |
| brothers-in-law, Lucille Hickey, Russell Giarratono, and Louis |
| 15 |
| (Eloise) Burgo; she was also preceded in death by her brother |
| 16 |
| Vito (Christine) Salvaro and her parents; therefore, be it |
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 18 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 19 |
| Martha Burgo, and we extend our deepest sympathy to her family, |
| 20 |
| friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the family of Martha Burgo as an expression of our |
| 23 |
| sincere condolences.
