| SENATE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
3 |
| learned with regret of the death of Francisco G. "Frank" |
4 |
| Salazar of Round Lake Beach on Wednesday, July 27, 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Salazar was born in Mexico on March 9, 1926 to |
6 |
| Francisco and Ines Salazar; he married Elvira on May 26, 1956; |
7 |
| and
|
8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Salazar had resided in the South Deering area |
9 |
| in Chicago prior to moving to Round Lake Beach ten years ago; |
10 |
| he was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Lake |
11 |
| Villa and was a former member of St. Kevin Church in Chicago; |
12 |
| and
|
13 |
| WHEREAS, He was a tailor by trade and was employed by a |
14 |
| number of well-known retailers throughout his life; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Francisco G. "Frank" Salazar has |
16 |
| been deeply felt by many, especially his wife, Elvira; his |
17 |
| children, Francisco, Jr. (Carol), Fernando, Luis, M.D. |
18 |
| (Consuelo), and David (Donna); his 15 grandchildren; his |
19 |
| sisters, Concepcion and Dorotea; his brothers, Alfonso (Cuqui) |
20 |
| and Luis (Magdalena); and his daughter-in-law, Mary Salazar; he |
21 |
| was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Eugene; |
22 |
| therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
24 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
25 |
| Francisco G. "Frank" Salazar, and we extend our deepest |
26 |
| sympathy to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved |
27 |
| him; and be it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
29 |
| presented to the family of Mr. Salazar as an expression of our |
