| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois |
| 3 |
| were saddened to learn of the death of Marion Michael Zielinski |
| 4 |
| of Burbank on Friday, August 1, 2003; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Zielinski was born on February 5, 1922, in |
| 6 |
| Chicago; he worked for 42 years for Phoenix Closures, a metal |
| 7 |
| cap company that later was operated as Kerr Glass; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Zielinski will be remembered as a hardworking |
| 9 |
| man and devoted husband; he always had time to listen to |
| 10 |
| problems and helped whenever possible; he served his country |
| 11 |
| honorably during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the 42nd |
| 12 |
| Rainbow Division; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Mr. Zielinski has been deeply felt |
| 14 |
| by all who knew him, especially his wife, Alma, and his |
| 15 |
| daughter, Monica; therefore, be it
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
| 17 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 18 |
| Marion Michael Zielinski, and we extend to his family, friends, |
| 19 |
| and all who knew and loved him, our sincere condolences; and be |
| 20 |
| it further
|
| 21 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 22 |
| presented to the family of Marion Michael Zielinski as an |
| 23 |
| expression of our deepest sympathy.
