| SENATE RESOLUTION
|
2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate were saddened |
3 |
| to learn of the death of Mary C. Sroka of Waukegan on July 16, |
4 |
| 2004; and
|
5 |
| WHEREAS, Mary C. Sroka was born September 30, 1927 in |
6 |
| Waukegan to the late Albert and Mary (Kulig) Czyrnek; and
|
7 |
| WHEREAS, She graduated from Waukegan Township High School |
8 |
| and St. Mary of the Woods College; she was employed with |
9 |
| Illinois Bell (AT&T) as a Human Resource person for 34 years; |
10 |
| and |
11 |
| WHEREAS, Ms. Sroka was a former member of Holy Rosary |
12 |
| Church in North Chicago, and was most recently a member of St. |
13 |
| Anastasia Catholic Church in Waukegan; she was also a member of |
14 |
| numerous clubs and organizations and enjoyed politics; and
|
15 |
| WHEREAS, The passing of Mary C. Sroka will be deeply felt |
16 |
| by many, especially her two sons, James S. Sroka and Alan J. |
17 |
| (Joanne) Sroka; her 11 grandchildren; and her five great |
18 |
| grandchildren; and |
19 |
| WHEREAS,
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary |
20 |
| Schroetter; and a brother, Albert Jr.; therefore, be it
|
21 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-THIRD GENERAL |
22 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the death of |
23 |
| Mary C. Sroka along with all who knew and loved her and extend |
24 |
| our sincere condolences to all who knew and loved her; and be |
25 |
| it further
|

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
27 |
| presented to the family of Mary C. Sroka as an expression of |
28 |
| our deepest sympathy.
