| with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. |

| 1, on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 2 the |

| following: |

| "(c) An automobile is exempt
from the provisions of this |

| Section if its owner or interest holder is not legally |
| 8 |
| accountable
for the conduct giving rise to the vehicle |
| 9 |
| immobilization or tow, did not acquiesce in it, and
did not |
| 10 |
| know and could not reasonably have known of the conduct or that

| 11 |
| the conduct was likely to occur, or did not solicit, conspire, |
| 12 |
| or
attempt to commit the conduct giving rise to the vehicle |
| 13 |
| immobilization or tow."; and
|
| 14 |
| on page 2, line 3, by changing "(c)" to "(d)".
