    AN ACT making appropriations.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The amount of $800,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity for a grant to the City of East St. Louis to complete construction of 174 new housing units.

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2005.
