| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1560

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1560 on page 1, by |

| replacing lines 13 through 17 with the following: |

| "(a-5) It is unlawful for any person to knowingly make a |
| 5 |
| secret or surreptitious video record or transmit live video of |
| 6 |
| another person in that other person's residence
without that |
| 7 |
| person's consent. The provisions of this subsection (a-5) do |
| 8 |
| not apply to any reporter or news medium, as those terms are |
| 9 |
| defined in Section 8-902 of the Code of Civil Procedure, or to |
| 10 |
| any law enforcement agency conducting an investigation of |
| 11 |
| criminal activity.".
