| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1870 on page 5, by |

| replacing lines 13 through 16 with the following: |

| "A separate pleading shall be filed, 3 weeks prior to the close |
| 5 |
| of discovery, which shall specify the 9-month period relied |
| 6 |
| upon by the petitioner seeking to terminate parental rights |
| 7 |
| under this subsection (m). The allegations in the pleading |
| 8 |
| shall be treated as if incorporated in the pending petition or |
| 9 |
| motion.".
