| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2351 on page 1, line |

| 5, after "12-503", by inserting "and adding Section 3-663"; and

| on page 3, line 25, by replacing "registration stickers" with |
| 5 |
| "license plates"; and
|
| 6 |
| on page 3, immediately below line 29, by inserting the |
| 7 |
| following:
|

| "(625 ILCS 5/3-663 new) |
| 9 |
| Sec. 3-663. Medically Required Tinted Window plates. The |
| 10 |
| Secretary, upon receipt of an application made in the form |
| 11 |
| prescribed by the Secretary, may issue special registration |
| 12 |
| plates designated as Medically Required Tinted Window license |
| 13 |
| plates. The special plates issued under this Section shall be |
| 14 |
| affixed only to passenger vehicles of the first division and |
| 15 |
| motor vehicles of the second division weighing not more than |
| 16 |
| 8,000 pounds. Plates issued under this Section shall expire |
| 17 |
| according to the multi-year procedure established by Section |
| 18 |
| 3-414.1 of this Code. The design and color of the plates shall |
| 19 |
| be wholly within the discretion of the Secretary of State."; |
| 20 |
| and
|
| 21 |
| on page 6, lines 16, 19, and 23, by replacing "systemic lupus" |
| 22 |
| each time it appears with "systemic or discoid lupus".
