| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2492 on page 2, line |

| 6, after "branches", by deleting "as provided"; and

| on page 2, line 8, by deleting "as provided"; and
|

| on page 2, by replacing lines 9 through 11 with the following: |

| "Act, and has a collaborative agreement with a collaborating |
| 7 |
| physician that authorizes an order or referral under this Act, |
| 8 |
| or (iii) licensed to practice as a physician assistant under |
| 9 |
| the Physician Assistant Practice Act of 1987, and has been |
| 10 |
| delegated the authority to perform services under this Act by |
| 11 |
| his or her supervising physician"; and
|
| 12 |
| on page 2, lines 17 and 18, by replacing "certified nurse |
| 13 |
| midwife" with "physician assistant".
