| AN ACT concerning transportation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 1-105.5 as follows:
|

| (625 ILCS 5/1-105.5)

| Sec. 1-105.5. Automated red light enforcement system. A |

| system in a
municipality with a population of 1,000,000 or more |
| 9 |
| operated
by a governmental agency, in cooperation with a law |
| 10 |
| enforcement agency, that
that
photographically records a motor |
| 11 |
| vehicle's response to a traffic control signal
with a red light |
| 12 |
| indication and is designed to obtain a clear photograph of the
|
| 13 |
| vehicle and the vehicle's license plate
when the motor vehicle |
| 14 |
| is involved in a motor vehicle accident, leaving the
scene of a |
| 15 |
| motor vehicle accident, or reckless driving that results in |
| 16 |
| bodily
injury. |
