| AN ACT concerning health.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Children's Mental Health Act of 2003 is |
| 5 |
| amended by adding Section 20 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (405 ILCS 49/20 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 20. Screening services. Any screening services |
| 8 |
| provided under the Children's Mental Health Plan must be |
| 9 |
| voluntary and conducted with parental consent and in accordance |
| 10 |
| with the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code.

| 11 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 12 |
| becoming law.
