| AN ACT concerning finance.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Public Funds Investment Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 5 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (30 ILCS 235/5) (from Ch. 85, par. 905)
|
| 7 |
| Sec. 5. This Act, without reference to any other statute, |
| 8 |
| shall be deemed
full and
and complete authority for the |
| 9 |
| investment of public funds, as
hereinabove provided, and shall |
| 10 |
| be construed as an additional and
alternative method therefor. |
