| AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3417

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3417 on page 2, by |

| inserting after line 17 the following: |

| "In computing interest under this Section for pharmacy |
| 5 |
| claims for dates of service subsequent to implementation of the |
| 6 |
| NCPDP 5.1 transaction format, the amount of a bill or invoice |
| 7 |
| means the aggregate amount submitted by the vendor in one |
| 8 |
| calender day, whether electronically or on paper, and does not |
| 9 |
| mean the items on the bill or invoice taken individually."; and
|
| 10 |
| on page 2, by inserting after line 18 the following:
|

| "Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 12 |
| becoming law.".
