| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3532 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Department of State Police Law of the

| Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section |

| 2605-211 as follows:

| (20 ILCS 2605/2605-211 new) |
| 8 |
| Sec. 2605-211. Protocol; methamphetamine; illegal |
| 9 |
| manufacture. |
| 10 |
| (a) The Department of State Police shall develop a protocol |
| 11 |
| to be followed in performing gross remediation of clandestine |
| 12 |
| laboratory sites not to exceed the standards established by the |
| 13 |
| United States Drug Enforcement Administration. |
| 14 |
| (b) "Gross remediation" means the removal of any and all |
| 15 |
| identifiable clandestine laboratory ingredients and apparatus. |
| 16 |
| (c) The Department of State Police must post the protocol |
| 17 |
| on its official Web site.

| 18 |
| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 19 |
| becoming law.".
