| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4137 as follows:

| on page 1, line 8, by replacing "On and after" with "Beginning |

| on"; and
|

| on page 1, by replacing lines 10 and 11 with the following: |

| "purchased from State funds must be flexible fuel vehicles. |

| Beginning July 1, 2007, all gasoline-powered vehicles |
| 8 |
| purchased from State funds must be flexible fuel or fuel |
| 9 |
| efficient hybrid vehicles. For purposes of this Section,"; and

| on page 1, line 22, by replacing "20% biodiesel (B20)" with "5% |
| 11 |
| biodiesel (B5)".
