| AN ACT concerning regulation.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The Interior Design Title Act is amended by |
| 5 |
| changing Section 7 as follows:
|
| 6 |
| (225 ILCS 310/7) (from Ch. 111, par. 8207)

| (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2012)

| Sec. 7. Board recommendations. The
The Director shall |
| 9 |
| consider the
recommendations of the Board in establishing |
| 10 |
| guidelines for professional
conduct, for the conduct of formal |
| 11 |
| disciplinary proceedings brought under
this Act, and for |
| 12 |
| establishing guidelines for qualifications of applicants.
|
| 13 |
| Notice of proposed rulemaking shall be transmitted to the Board |
| 14 |
| and the
Department shall review the response of the Board and |
| 15 |
| any recommendations
made in their response. The Department, at |
| 16 |
| any time, may seek the expert
advice and knowledge of the Board |
| 17 |
| on any matter relating to the
administration or enforcement of |
| 18 |
| this Act. |
