AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4521

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4521 on page 3, by 
3
replacing lines 14 through 18 with the following:

    "Sec.16-104c. Court supervision fee. Any person who 
5
receives a disposition of court supervision for a violation of 
6
any provision of this Code shall pay an additional fee of $25, 
7
to be disbursed as follows:
8
    (1) if an officer of the Department of State Police 
9
arrested the person for the violation, the $25 fee shall be 
10
deposited into the State Police Vehicle Fund; or
11
    (2) if an officer of any law enforcement agency in the 
12
State other than the Department of State Police arrested the 
13
person for the violation, the $25 fee shall be paid to the law 
14
enforcement agency that employed the arresting officer and 
15
shall be used for the acquisition or maintenance of police 
16
vehicles."; and

on page 10, by replacing lines 20 through 24 with the 
18
following:

    "(l) A defendant charged with violating any provision of 
20
the Illinois Vehicle Code who receives a disposition of 
21
supervision under subsection (c) shall pay an additional fee of 
22
$25, to be disbursed as provided in Section 16-104c of the 
23
Illinois Vehicle Code.".
