| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4572 on page 1, by |

| replacing line 5 with the following: |

| "amended by changing Sections 20-85, 25-85, and 50-5 and by |
| 5 |
| adding Sections 20-20.5 and 25-20.5 as follows:

| (5 ILCS 430/20-20.5 new) |

| Sec. 20-20.5. Badges. Each Executive Inspector General may |
| 8 |
| issue shields or other distinctive identification to his or her |
| 9 |
| investigative staff, if that Executive Inspector General |
| 10 |
| determines that a shield or distinctive identification is |
| 11 |
| needed to carry out the investigative responsibilities of the |
| 12 |
| Office of the Executive Inspector General."; and

| on page 2, by inserting below line 2 the following:

| "(5 ILCS 430/25-20.5 new) |
