AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4894

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4894 on page 1, line

1, by replacing "health care workers" with "regulation"; and

on page 2, line 7, after "Systems", by inserting "by January 1, 
5
2009"; and
 
6
on page 2, line 9, by replacing "program." with the following:
7
"program approved by the U.S. Department of Labor.  State 
8
employees who perform inspections and testing on behalf of 
9
State institutions and who meet all other requirements of this 
10
subsection (f) need not be licensed under this Act or employed 
11
by a licensee under this Act in order to perform inspection and 
12
testing duties under this subsection (f)."; and 
 
13
on page 2, line 10, by replacing "inspection" with 
14
"inspections"; and
 
15
on page 2, by replacing line 12 with the following:
16
"a county, a fire protection district, or the Office of the 
17
State Fire Marshal.".
