225 ILCS 454/15-17 new










    Amends the Real Estate License Act of 2000.  Provides that prior to the sale of property, adjacent to which lies an empty lot on either side, a  licensee must disclose to all parties in the transaction how the empty lot is zoned.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Real Estate License Act of 2000 is amended  
5
by adding Section 15-17 as follows:

    (225 ILCS 454/15-17  new)

    Sec. 15-17. Adjacent property zoning disclosure required.

Prior to the sale of property, adjacent to which lies an empty 
9
lot on either side of the sale property, a  licensee must 
10
disclose to all parties in the transaction, in writing, how the 
11
empty lot is zoned.
